We are Ask Your Mom – a band of dads that has been together since 2005. Despite outward appearances, we know how to rock a room. Whether it is a sweaty bar or a wedding under a tent or a giant outdoor festival, we get people to dance.

We play covers other bands usually don’t. Yes, we play American Girl by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers but we also play Even the Losers and Makin’ Some Noise. We like to think of our genre as “classic alternative” – not classic rock like commercial radio and not “alternative” like black eyeliner but a nice combination of the two. Sort of like your older cool cousin and whatever he listened to. A little bit of 1st Wave or Little Steven’s Underground Garage on Sirius/XM.
