September 2022 – Katonah Connect is a local magazine in the town of Bedford where four of us live. Kaitlyn Hardy reached out to Rob to include us in the September/October 2022 Music issue.
We scheduled a video call before practice one week and Kaitlyn interviewed Richie, Derek and Rob from our studio. We had a lot of fun (she seemed to enjoy chatting with us) and the result can be seen to the left.
May 2022 – somebody at the Somers Record liked us enough to add June 2 gig at North Star to the June 2022 events calendar. The fact that they took some liberties with the spelling of our name just makes it more funny. The irony is the gig was ultimately canceled due to rain…
November 20, 2021 – The Bedford/Pound Ridge Record Review heard about our lead singer and his many (many) talents and wrote this article on Richie.
September 2021 – We played a fun wedding in Milford, CT for some friends in June of 2021. Bedford New Canaan Magazine did a feature on the Lindsay and Cody and we got a mention. And if you look really closely you can see Rob playing guitar during the ceremony.
January 2010 – Rich Monetti is a fan of Ask Your Mom. We know this because despite being a man about town and writing for several publications, he chooses to come see us.
He wrote this particular article for Patch after seeing us at O’Malley’s (or was it Katie Mac’s?) and we are all the better for it.
July 2009 – hot on the footsteps of our feature in the Record Review, Westchester Magazine held their annual Best Of issue and we were apparently the Favorite Parent Band. Given there were very few bands meeting that description in the old days of 2009, it is no wonder we were victorious.
June 2009 – the Bedford Record Review called us – interested in doing a feature on the band. Who were we to say no?
